Visited by Jonathan Harker a English Solicitor who travels to Transylvania to complete the paper work for Count Dracula who has chosen to leave Transylvania and move to London. Jonathan Harker learns of the terrible truth of The Count who leaves who leaves his Castle and boards the Russian Ship The Dementer and travels to Whitby on the ship. Later in the story Dracula falls in love with Jonathan Harker's soon to be bride Mena. At the end of the story Dracula is killed by Decapitation who then turns to dust. So where did the story of Dracula come from, Well there are many theories of the origin of Dracula and Vampires with the main story being believed to have been about the 15th-Century Prince Vlad The Impaler. He was the second son of Vlad Dracul, who became the ruler of Wallachia in 1436. Vlad and his younger brother, Radu, were held as hostages in the Ottoman Empire in 1442 to secure their father's loyalty. Vlad's eldest brother Mircea and their father were murdered after John Hunyadi, regent-governor of Hungary, invaded Wallachia in 1447. Hunyadi installed Vlad's second cousin, Vladislav II, as the new voivode. Hunyadi launched a military campaign against the Ottomans in the autumn of 1448, and Vladislav accompanied him. Vlad broke into Wallachia with Ottoman support in October, but Vladislav returned, and Vlad sought refuge in the Ottoman Empire before the end of the year. Vlad went to Moldavia in 1449 or 1450 and later to Hungary. There is no proof that Vlad drank the blood of his enemies, although he was far worst towards the soldiers of his enemies by impaling them on a large wooden stake, this would be a painful and slow death, which Vlad would sit and watch as they would slip slowly down the poles.
